Fort Stevenson State Park Campground sits on a peninsula on the north side of Lake Sakakawea and has lots of trees for shade. The campsites are very spacious and offer pretty good privacy. Visitors enjoy many hiking and biking trails, and there is also a playground and other activities for children.
